@JonathanShedler Are you aware of the idea of "alief" (as in contrast to belief)? If so, do you have any thoughts about it? Is it a useful idea in a clinical setting?

@sbkaufman Is it possible to form a similar bond with an author as you do with a good psychotherapist? Such that it is easier to integrate information from an author you have that bond with, than without that bond.
