Phase 2 – day 51.I've made it to the last degree-just under 60 nautical miles from the South Pole. A lot of soft snow, a whiteout and wind but I made it through. This post goes out to those training for their expeditions:

Thank you! It really was an amazing experience. It has been pretty busy since I've been back but also great to connect with so many incredible people.
@CathrineWalker6
I found some sections after the half way point really hard when I had some tough weather conditions (very windy, lots of wind shaped ridges which were pretty high) and I was quite tired. In these sections, I concentrated on taking one day at a time..
@CathrineWalker6
I also had some amazing days. I remember at least 2 days when the weather was amazing with minimal wind and I just reminded myself how lucky I am to be there. Reaching the South Pole was also pretty incredible!
