I actually remember watching a video on this a while back out of boredom
The camera is set up in just a way and at a very specific angle so that it's just off screen.
Then it magically disappears in the photo after reciting an invisibility spell.

I think it would "Redeem" Neo just slightly if they freed her and we have a big fight of RWBY, Jaune, and Neo Vs The Currious Cat as the big finale fight scene. I use Redeem lightly, cuz its not friends or redemption, but more of a "Enemy of my Enemy" type deal.
