Ok, now it's getting wild. @VictoriaL_64 asked to join my Podcast. I agree. I don’t need to have to do that. I'm happy to discuss those topics, though. I didn't like her demanding approach. But it's okay. She seems knowledgeable and an excellent fit to have her share her expertise. But at some point, it got too much. However, she ultimately refused, not me. 1st Demand: She wants to keep it private - which I'm afraid I have to disagree with since I also wanted to hear from other women (which should be in her "favor"). Also, I wanted to invite @Charlie_Carrel so that there would be two women and two men. It seems fair to me. 2nd Demand: She prefers female Poker Pros only. I am like, "ok, whatever." 3rd Demand: She is not interested in debating my point on Biology (which has been one of the main points in my discussions). At this point, I was already confused. You want to come on my podcast to discuss a topic I shared on Twitter but don't want me to talk about why I think men have a competitive advantage? Really? 4th demand: She wants to keep it to Poker. Again, my argumentation is built around other fields, such as Online Poker, Chess, and Esports. But she doesn't want to talk about it. Ok, how should this debate go if you don't prefer talking about my points? How in the world am I supposed to argue if you don't want me to discuss it? She wants to script the topics in advance, which has nothing to do with an objective and constructive conversation/podcast. Anyway, I am trying to find a middle ground. 5th demand: She insists on sticking with Poker. I want to discuss all topics with her (including hers, of course), but I will not tolerate someone coming on my podcast and trying to silence me from what I have to say. 6th demand: Someone else should moderate. Yeah, it's not going to happen on my podcast. I think I am quite experienced, and I also have an interest in having a fruitful conversation. Then she frames it as if I said, "Men are biologically superior to women", which is a lie. 7th demand: Again, She wants to define the topic but doesn't want to discuss my arguments. I try to emphasize wanting to make the discussion as open as possible. I call her out on it. I tell her that she crosses my boundaries, but she is happily invited and refuses. (And she demands I adapt to the guest's area of expertise). That's the state of Dialogue in 2024. "Hey, I have an opinion about a topic. Can I come on your podcast and make 7-8 demands? I define the topic and prefer not to talk about how you see it." "Then I go on Twitter, claiming that Bencb did not want to debate." Aha ok. If any women are interested in discussing it, please DM or tag someone you would love to see. Ideally, there should be two women with me and @Charlie_Carrel. We will give everyone a chance to say what they have to say, but I will not tolerate someone trying to frame the topics the way they want them to. More screenshots are below.
