Jack Currie has now played every minute in 32 straight league and FA Cup games. Last time he wasn't on the pitch was after being subbed off after 83 mins vs Crewe on 16 Sept. That's 2,880 straight minutes (+ stoppage time). Decent effort.

Was v. impressed with Kelly today. Tireless running, good movement, pace in behind, brave for 1st goal. Don't think he did much wrong with 2nd half chances. Looked in control/confident carrying the ball. Thought he was sure to score but Farman did brilliantly on both occasions.

Weird stat after the last couple of years... Since Wimbledon lost a 2 goal lead against Crewe on 16 Sept, we've taken the lead in 14 games (9 league, 5 cup) and won every single one of them. Have become rock solid leaders (stats-wise at least), less good after going behind.

Think JJ deserves loads of credit again. Once more started with loads of intensity but Swindon posed a threat before HT with their tactical switch. JJ active in addressing it with the shape change at HT and having pace + pace up top with Ali and Neufville. Worked a treat.

Loads of credit to JJ, Skiverton & the rest of the coaching staff today. We could all see the issues but harder to find solutions. I had no idea how we should've lined up. Big call to switch the formation - first time we've departed from a back 4 all season - and worked a treat.

Pleasingly comfortable win. Lovely to see Bugiel grab a brace. 10 for the season now, equals his best return since his FotMob stats began. Lee Brown excellent again, didn't put a foot wrong. Reeves and Little ran the midfield. Currie tireless down the left. Youuuuu Dons!!!

Sasu with 5 successful dribbles today. He attempted 9 - no lack of confidence in his first league start! Sasu is twice his size but a bit reminiscent of watching Assal at times - anticipation when he gets the ball, running past players, getting kicked. Hugely exciting prospect.

Outstanding afternoon at Plough Lane. JJ should get loads of credit for the team set up - worked perfectly. Little was tenaciously brilliant throughout. Ali the best forward in L2 by a mile; the challenge, run and finish for the 4th breathtaking. Two brilliant pens from Reeves.

Some stats based expansion on "they hardly had a sniff". Harrogate had 4 shots, only 1 from inside the box and an xG of 0.18. If you're only allowing an opponent 1 shot in the box when you're 1-0 up for 90 minutes you're doing something right.

FotMob produce radar charts to show how players compare to others in their position. Bugiel's really interesting/impressive. Not too many goals or shots (apart from vs. Ramsgate!) but best in class at defending from the front. Brilliant signing & a proper Wimbledon player.

A few stats from the last few months... Only Sutton have beaten us in the league since 8 October Just 1 defeat in 14 now 4 goals conceded in last 11 games - and 2 of them penalties (other 2 from Sutton) May not be the most exciting team around but certainly extremely solid.

Nice stat. Wimbledon have the most goals from high turnovers in League 2. (Scoring after winning the ball less than 40 metres from the opposition’s goal). Pressing high/forcing errors definitely a big strength of our game.

Interesting stat from yesterday's game. The Dons 3 centre backs collectively completed 40 passes. That's a season low. Next lowest was v Bradford last week (51). Highest was v Barrow (228). Definitely points to a switch of plan to get ball forward quicker (a welcome switch IMO).

Delighted for Bugiel to score. He does outstanding work for the team. I wondered pre-season whether some teams would overrun us in MF. Hasn't happened yet, in no small part due to Bugiel essentialy playing both up front and in midfield. Both target man & midfield terrier.

Think a big part of our defensive control is pace at the back, which means we can defend high up and keep them asay from our goal (and Harrogate didn’t have pace to get in behind). Can't recall the last time we had a back 4 as quick as Ogundere, Lewis, Johnson & Currie.

Feel like some talk of our demise is a bit overstated/premature. Franchise & Wrexham sit 1st & 2nd in form table over last 10 games. Playing both away without Ali & Omar was always going to be tough. All about how we react now, but have done that pretty well after earlier losses.

Really don't get Lewis's 2nd yellow yesterday. On the halfway line, didn't go to ground, no aggression. A tiny bit late. Just a standard foul, give the free kick and get on with the game. Never a booking in a million years, and think he only committed two fouls in the game.

Definitely leaning towards wanting Sasu part of the squad rather than loaned out. Last night a great advert for why you need 4 wide MF options in a 442. Will often change wingers in games so scope for both Sasu & McLean to get lots of minutes (assuming we don't sign anyone else).

Really good read. Craig Cope clearly doing a great job. Interesting that we were hopeful of bringing L-Evans back in the window but no scope due to his form for Stockport. Is a big loss. Surely a top target for the summer if Stockport go up and don't want to keep him.

Conscious this may age badly, but seems unlikely to me that Bristol City would pay what we'd want for Currie given he has 18 months left on his contract. Always the argument that player could down tools & "force the move" but Currie seems about the least likely player to do that.

Pretty much every soft play/toddler class I take my kids to there is at least one other kid wearing some Wimbledon merchandise. Definitely feel properly rooted back in the local community now.

Big win tonight & fully deserved. Thought we outfought Walsall & played some decent stuff. Two CBs and Broome were excellent. Really like Little further forward. Looked like a team playing for their manager and credit to JJ for the big call to start Pierre.

Was a great event. Brilliantly organised and great to see the full squad there on the back of Salford away and mixing with the kids. My two really enjoyed it - just hope the 2 year old is over her fears of Haydon and Father Christmas by next year!

Seems like Saturday's team pretty much picks itself (assuming no incomings/surprise absentees). Bass Biler Lewis Johnson Currie Reeves Ball Little Tilley Davison Sasu In something like a 433. McLean the only attacking options we'd have on the bench as things stand.

Think that's Jennings' 3rd MOTM award in not many more games for Whitehawk (goal today too). Interesting what plan is for him next season. Obvs young but potential to offer more attacking threat from CM than the current senior players there. Definitely a v. exciting prospect.

Clearly not the most exciting game today but guess it's a decent point. Tzanev, the two CBs and Little good again. We continue to be solid and hard to beat but lacking in attacking threat. Would like to see Davison and Al-Hamadi as a front 2. Also Currie back in.

Brilliant win in Youth Cup. Dons excellent 2nd half. Folkes great handling. Back 4 all did well & thought Cotton, at RB, had a v. strong game. Sidwell integral at base of MF. Great pen from Jennings & ran the show in injury time. Super quick feet from Clarke to win pen. COYDs!!!

I see Harry Smith was sent off for Sutton today for violent conduct (a stamp). Probably a 3 game ban, so would be out of our game next Saturday.

Also think JJ deserves massive credit for tonight. May have been a temptation to go 532, sit deep, try to contain them and hope for the odd counter attack or set piece. But set the team up to play with aggression, press them high, get in their faces, and got the reward.

Sheer class from ex @AFCWimbledon manager @Mark6Robinson . He gets a tube home with family after the match at his new club @ChelseaFC . Fans sing ROBBO songs all the way. A privilege to see him quieten us as we stop at Wimbledon & with a tear in his eye say "Thank you" Great night!

Another big night of defending from the front for Bugiel. 5 tackles won (3 more than anyone else).

Loads of massively deserved praise for JJ's tactics but also a brilliant call to put Reeves on pens. I was surprised it wasn't Tilley (missed one but not a bad pen) & sure he'd have wanted it. But great call to switch to Reeves & hopefully now found our long term penalty taker!

Not the 3 points we wanted today but I thought there was lots to like in the performance. Players certainly gave everything. I also had a moment halfway through the 2nd half of quietly thinking just how amazing watching Wimbledon at Plough Lane is. A good day, all in all.

Enjoyed the family fun day at Plough Lane today. Was a great turn out, despite the rain. Clear that loads of local kids/families are getting into the club. Great to see and bodes well for the future. Also nice to take the kids for a stroll on the pitch!
