Every fantasy I've read, has been a comment on the oppression of a conservative world view. But now I'm in this weird time where it's the liberal world view that has become oppressive. And I'm creating a world that reflects this... but I'm escaping into libertarianism.

@FromKulak
To invert a society you need a lot of legislation, laws, programming... that's how the administrative and corporative classes insert themselves. They provide the structure and authority to invert society and take power and make a profit in the process.
@AshaLogos
It means that the enemy was always nationalism. It still is. Nationalism doesn't allow for globalist reach. We have to hate Hitler because we are not allowed to be nationalists.
@CilComLFC
Small population size. Isolated. Culturally homogenous. Less time and resources wasted on "identity politics" means actual problems get solved.
@JamesPorrazzo
Mercenary groups are extremely fascinating. Imo they are mobile blocks of power, that can evolve into stateless states, posing a dynamic threat to static nations.
@kingmakerseries
@ScottAdamsSays
I really hope you are correct. But I wouldn't underestimate the impact of cheating on the ballots & this new development with Keir Starmer visiting the blob this week re: Ukraine.
@alexandrosM
@SuperHumanEpoch
I think about this a lot. We were hopeful because we didn't know how fake it was. There is actually nothing "to go back to" since none of it was real.
@tyromper
Honestly it's not hard. I don't know why we have this very lazy social construct of "oh desire fades, so just live with it." Desire is an active choice. It's choosing to see someone a certain way because that "way" adds value to the entire experience.
@SamParkerSenate
Oh and don't forget... the good guys always win. If that makes you sad, just turn on the TV and wait for the laugh track. You'll be happy again.
@meghaverma_art
Wtf are you talking about? There's an entire sub genre of films of Tomboys cleaning up to be the pretty girl and getting the guy. You and that other clownette have been back pedaling your tone deaf clout chase in vain.
@LadyJustice4512
I'm pretty sure if couples prioritised physical affection... everything else would fall into place. Physical closeness is nature's glue. The first language we respond to is actually touch. Not words.
@FringeViews
I've been watching docs about this lately. I'm convinced now that ANY history at all that aligns with Hollywood movies must be re-examined. Thoroughly.
@FringeViews
That's really scary mainly because the UN is probably the least effective most expensive government like organisation ever. The figures in the late 1990s already showed it was drastically ineffective & far too costly to be worth it.
@eyeslasho
I used to buy the whole left is smarter concept. But I think what that has turned out to mean is that the smartness is synonymous with system compliance. Academic proficiency = system proficiency. I'm not sure that's a particularly useful way to measure intelligence.
@caitoz
You're freaking out about humans destroying other humans? Everyone of us is here on a legacy of survival that likely includes violence. The most biased views come from people who can't tolerate that humanity has a dark side.
@Rothmus
Herbert was an optimist. You don't have to be pathological to be corruptible. It is the human condition. Systems built using humans are corruptible. Even non human systems are.
@TheSwoletariat_
@kleistmeister
@NickJFreitas
No. This is what government sponsorship looks like in its late stage applied to ANY ideology. Too bad socialism will always require more government sponsorship than capitalism.
@FringeViews
You're describing current government as well. All libertarianism does is reduce the size of government. Individual pockets of varying government and regulatory differences make it harder for companies to reach massive size. Standards & regulations make scaling easier.
@arthurkwonlee
I am making this exact point with my novel. What you eat, how you eat it, the things you do to get or make food inform so many other aspects of culture / politics.
@KarlRadl
People are so triggered by this. That's how good & deep the story planting via continual trauma through collective narrative was/is. It isn't even logical anymore. What's weirder is that more people died under other authoritarian regimes, ideology seems somewhat irrelevant.
This is peak Guardian:
✅ Open hatred for the working class
✅ Tubby middle-aged joyless non-binary gimp with a face like a slapped arse
✅ Policing of others' enjoyment
✅ Cultural elitism
✅ Offence archaeology
@Rob_ThaBuilder
Same energy as mum's in the 80s who forced their kids into "possibly illustrious" careers / hobbies. All of those have lost their shine. Now you can offer up your kid for bodily sacrifice on the liberal alter of transcendence. Everyone wants to be Mary.
@EvaVlaar
I got deported from the country I grew up in, which my mother is a national of for over staying a visa. 100% these people should be deported.
@FromKulak
These have always existed. It's the long house in ascendancy that tips the balance unfavorably & for no reason other than corporate gain through commercialised ideology.
