I was working on a fully 2d map (even the pre-game was 2d) but it sadly broke with this update. Here is some early footage from the map, the latest version looked and worked better but I have no footage of it. Hopefully I'll be able to complete this in the future!

I set up a super dynamic class system for implementing new weapons with two types - projectile and hitscan. If you already have all of the art for a weapon, you can implement a new weapon in just minutes.

Lego removes a bunch of UEFN features without adding much new. Players should be able to build with Lego Bricks, its the coolest part of Lego and it would allow for new gamemodes that give an actual reason to use Lego UEFN
Yikes... Excluding Epic's and legogroup's projects there's less than 1000 on all Lego maps.
Was the Lego row (now hidden) the only source of players? Could something be broken that prevents these maps from getting to discover or FN players just dislike them?

I started out thinking this would be relatively simple to build, but I quickly realized all of the small details Fortnite weapons have that I would have to recreate. Everything is custom - including the crosshair, ammo, and reload UI.

Damaging a player through Verse works differently than damaging a player with a weapon. So, we had to implement custom hitmarkers and damage numbers. Getting these damage number to be instigator only was a huge challenge.

Teleporting a prop to a player with verse
As nice as this feature is on Vision Pro, the lag between the augmented panel following the physical keyboard shows how poor the image tracking frame rate is for ARKit on visionOS.

It really feels like any map beyond a certain complexity is just going to be plagued with bugs. Something as fundamental as GetPlayers() should just never be broken, especially for multiple updates.
