Hi Phil, i appreciate your perspective. I was really feeling torn about this news. I work for state government and I know how people get trapped into civil service the closer you get to retirement. I was trying to think through what I would do if I was asked to do something morally repugnant but to refuse would risk the financial security of my family. I hope I would do the right thing, but I don’t know that it’s such a black and white decision. I get that getting rid of everyone involved feels like they’d be purging the rot, but it doesn’t seem like you could reasonably say no if you were assigned to one of those tasks, and if you did you’d be targeted. What are your thoughts?
