@dannyrio_ I started getting good at making animations in 2 years, but I'm still learning how to edit to build tension.

As a former designer, I know that bad animation can be saved by perfect design -- but not the other way around. I also know that if you take away the animation from a video it will still be good, but if you take away the pace and story, it won't. So you can make a cake without chocolate on top, but you can't make it without the crust. I'm a very strong motion designer myself and apply graphics to every project I do, but I emphasize design and pacing in my videos. It's like Frodo looking for the ring all these years, not 1 movie. Graphics and color correction are good, and it's best if the editor can do everything at a high level, but when choosing from priorities, I realize that I'm hired by clients for those things, not animation. Even Hayden hired me to do animations not because they were of high quality, but because I could best interpret the meaning they were supposed to convey. You can do a lot of things with animation and it will forever be one of the main parts of editing! Just learning animations can anyone, but to maintain the pace of the units, learning more complex skills, and learning animations on the second plan the quality of work will grow exponentially.

Another Timeline for @Patrickzeinali video! Working with colour allows you to keep things clean and make edits very quickly.
