@LKeenan90740126 @NHHouseGOP Yes, let’s expose wasteful spending BUT don’t needlessly eliminate/reduce state revenue sources, push costs on to local governments resulting in even higher property taxes.

@NHHouseGOP If you’re wondering why … eliminating/reducing state revenue sources, shifting costs to local government, busting the budget with EFA’s. GOP fiscal policies = high property taxes.

@CindyR4NH Instead of Republicans cutting revenue sources they could have at least redirected funding to the municipalities and school districts to help mitigate our high property taxes.

What unites Democrats is our belief in the need to uplift one another, understanding that the world is a much better place when we all succeed, free to be ourselves, supporting one another within the uniqueness of our individuality.

Have you seen the Kelly Ayotte ad that say Dems want to raise taxes and “coddle crime?” She says, “That’s nuts” Know what’s nuts? Thinking that I or other Dems want our taxes to go up and have criminals roaming our neighborhoods. Same old cliches to mislead the voters.

As the prime sponsor of legislation to overturn NH’s “divisive concepts” law, I am overjoyed with today’s court ruling which ensures that they will have access to honest and open discussion about history and for their teachers to be free from retribution for doing their jobs.

IF I WAS ASKED … but I wasn’t, I would have said: You can always find examples of those in every profession who violate proper conduct but you don’t paint everyone with the same brush and impose draconian measures which make it challenging for them to do their jobs.

Governor Sununu weighed in on my bill HB1162 which would repeal the “divisive concepts” law. I object to the implication that such instruction is happening. It’s an insult to our teachers! The law’s real objective is to silence teachers’ voices and give cover to hate groups.

Saved this Tweet from last summer; thought it was spot on. Pretty much sums up yesterday’s NH House session as ALL but 5 Republicans voted to ban books (HB1419) and ALL but 6 voted against free school meals. (HB1212).

@NHHouseGOP Whether racists and haters want to be “free” from hearing the true, they must be called out for what they are. Shamefully this law gives them cover because it prohibits talking about it. Whether we’re Rs or Ds, we should all agree, there should be no hate in the Granite State.

I’m honored to have filed legislation to repeal the so-called divisive concepts law. “While not everyone who agrees with this law is racist, it’s safe to say that everyone who is racist supports it.”

Too cute not to share. Last night a politically astute tricker-treater came to my door. He politely thanked me for his candy and said nothing more. A while later he returned, this time with his mother and said, “I’d like to introduce you to my mother. She voted for you.”🎃

@tasyarodz From the Dems’ perspective: Reproductive Rights, Voting Rights, LGBTQ+ Rights, support for public schools and teachers, workers, affordable house … all in peril when Dems don’t have the majority. It’s all about seeing the big picture rather than a narrow focus.
