One thing I find hard to understand about the anti-Letby side is why they would not want an appeal if they were wrongly convicted. They don't KNOW she committed these crimes, only that she was convicted of them. Miscarriages sadly happen all too frequently

But my points are a) they were wrong and b) defence screwed up. According to a proper forensic biochemist, "results of insulin analysis using immunoassay methods (ELISA) are not acceptable for use as evidence in a criminal prosecution". I'm not an expert but they are.

Ah, MSM too now is it? You may not have seen the ITV Post Office documentary and drama in January, following which the government bypassed the judiciary and passed a law to quash convictions of subpostmasters. The reason it did this is that it recognised the judicial process

Correct, they did! My point is they shouldn't have because there is no research that supports them being able to do that (if there is, show me). On the other hand, there is plenty of research about how resuscitation causes pockets of air.

GMC: Drs shd contact investigative body if a) cannot raise with person cos they part of problem b) hospital not taking action c) there is an immediate serious risk to patients, and a regulator or other external body has responsibility to act or intervene.
