“How would we look at each other, me and Suna…?” Excuse me? Excuse me? So it’s only a problem if they sleep together? Why was it such a big deal then when Ferit saw his father kissing İfakat? After all, it was just a kiss, right? What on earth are they writing? Whose filthy pen is scripting this nonsense? Let’s say it was a mistake - one he regretted once he realised the gravity of his actions. But honestly the script was so poor and it didn’t even give him justice, I didn’t see instant regret. But still, then what? You know how much I love Ferit. But in both life and fiction, some mistakes can’t be undone. We simply have to accept living with the consequences. That has always been Ferit’s struggle. He’s stubborn, relentless, willing to move heaven and earth to fix his mistakes and hold onto the things dear to him. But sometimes, life demands a bigger lesson: acceptance of the loss. I guess now, the same way he will have to accept losing the Yali despite all his efforts, accept Halis dying, and, unfortunately - if this is real - accept losing Seyran, too. It will be a painful lesson, but that’s life, isn’t it? Sometimes it only teaches us through the hardest path. In my opinion, if there’s any logic left in this story, Seyran, Suna, and Ferit should each go their separate ways. Some things can be forgiven, but others simply cannot. Even if forgiveness is possible, rebuilding trust would take immense effort - and even then, there’s no guarantee it could ever truly be restored. Besides, I genuinely wonder - what would the moral of this story even be? Ultimate forgiveness? Many of us hated how they forgave Pelin last season, how Esme forgave Kazim, and how Ferit forgave Ifakat. We never forgave them. Now, it feels like they’re making Ferit commit an unforgivable mistake just to challenge us - to force us into forgiveness, as if to prove a point. That sometimes, no matter how big the mistake, when it comes to a certain person, you find excuses and grant forgiveness. But Ferit isn’t those characters. Yet, from their own perspectives, even those characters had their good sides and were victims in their own way. So yeah, if that’s what they are trying to do, do they realise how terrifying that concept is? Normalising perpetual forgiveness for abusers and wrongdoers, regardless of the harm they’ve caused, sends a dangerous message. It encourages victims to stay silent, to endure, and to accept their pain as inevitable rather than break free from toxic cycles. Where does accountability fit in if forgiveness is the only answer? What kind of future are we shaping with that mindset? All that said, I still hold out a little bit of hope that they might somehow miraculously fix everything because I still refuse that the Ferit I know would do or say things like that - and if they do, I’ll take it. I don’t care if it doesn’t make sense, I’m not counting on logic anymore; it left the chat long ago. But for now, I’m taking things as they presented, keeping my hopes and doubts to myself, and silencing them. Because honestly, enough is enough.
