“I can never trust Ferit… His character is like this… If one day a woman come to me and say she was with Ferit, and I wouldn’t be able to say, ‘No, that’s impossible.’” And it’s not any woman, it’s your sister! With the shit they wrote - if they don’t fix it - they’re reducing Ferit to a beast with no self-control or moral compass. But the truth is no matter how much he looks down on himself or how flawed he may seem, Ferit is pure at heart and does have his own limits! Instead of helping him heal his insecurities and change the way he perceives himself, they’re reinforcing his false beliefs and asking him to simply accept and forgive himself as he is. This is the “wonderful” healing journey they’ve written for this character over 3 years. What a betrayal! Idiots!

I’m sorry but reading “Ferit is a cheater” triggers me more than the stupid script they wrote, I swear! He is not. Omg!! He is not!!! It’s their dirty pen that made him one he never cheated on Seyran, and even with Pelin he was a playboy, he was not cheating on her, she knew all along.

First when he talk about the kiss and how it happened, he took himself out of that mindset, he said I found myself in her misery so for a while he was distracted from his own struggles and then he said I kissed her out of pity, so it was not rage, or revenge, nor destructive thoughts that pushed him to do the act itself. And yes Ferit tend to get drunk and do things that he might regret later but despite it all he never crossed the line and most of the time he was the one who made sure not to cross the line. For you this was always Ferit Sarah? Seriously?

But this is not about life in general - I’m not projecting here I’m looking at things from the characters perspective and how they are in this story. I was against the separation for 2 years but that was not out of character, Seyran pushed Ferit away during Akin Orhan situation for his own good, so it was still the same pattern. Them being in a romantic relationship with other people was also out of characters to me but it was 2 years separation and they were forcing themselves so the traits of the characters were not lost and we could’ve see it from that perspective, even though I didn’t like it. But not at any moment it was mentioned or hinted to that Ferit is capable of cheating and not only cheating but also with Suna. Ferit is really a good guy, and despite how bad he can turn and how much he messes up there are some lines he never crosses, never. And writing him this way is a betrayal to his character. You can disagree, of course, but this is not him…

@sarahmacss So what do you mean? In that case what is your reference for the character? How can you judge something as out of character or not? And why do they even bother to build a character over 3 years then? All that is pointless?

If they don’t show another version and try to fix it all, then that’s exactly what happened and it’s not open to interpretation for everyone to choose the version they want, he was maybe too ashamed to tell all the details that’s it. Because the hickey on Suna’s neck didn’t appear by itself…

The way the was telling how things happened didn’t match what was presented. So that’s why I’m saying maybe miraculously they will fix it giving us a different fb with the real events not as what was shown… but I’m not hoping for anything anymore, nor excepting anything at this point, I’m taking things as they are, until proven otherwise. And I don’t think I will be ok with a peck kiss either honestly, maybe if he initiated like with Pelin once but stopped before the kiss… ahhh I don’t know it’s still wrong.
