It’s been a hard year for everyone. I didn’t invent calculus or write 20 grants. But I taught my kids how to cook and grew this beauty from a transplant. 😊

This is an unbelievable and terrible loss. Casey was brilliant and seemed to click instantly with so many people. I will miss him and his grounded, decent humanity
It is with great sadness that we share the news that Dr. Casey Brown passed away on Saturday, March 18. He was a friend, colleague, and mentor to so many in the GCB and CAMB communities, as well as the scientific community as a whole, and will be deeply missed.
