My third pregnancy had fatal genetic abnormalities. No way was I going to carry it until it died on its own. Spouse and I were very grateful to have access to a safe, legal abortion, even if we did have to pay out of pocket, as our insurance considered it "elective."

I'm so sorry. Spouse and I both felt very lucky that my miscarriage at home was fairly early in my pregnancy. Funny thing to be grateful for, huh? And that my third pregnancy's fatal abnormality was detected and confirmed early, and that abortion was safe and legal in our state.

List will do wonders. I used to make lists when I was a kid, and my folks would get me several things from my list. Had the crazy thought that boyfriend/now spouse should know what I want and listen to me when I hint, etc. Now I make a list and get every single thing. It's great!
