These test are things humans made up to qualify humans. NONE of them make you a "good" Doctor, or a Lawyer, or a Business person. Computers are way better than humans when it comes to this type of testing. A scenario where questions and answers are well defined.

2) Federal Reserve holds $5.4 Trillion of it
3) Federal Reserve doesn't have restrictions on it's balance sheet size.
4) Federal Reserve pays any profits back to Treasury.

It's the most powerful finance position in the world. He is worth $200 Million. The salary is symbolic and a distraction. He could do an hour engagement at any financial institution in the world for multi millions. He made more before, he will make more after.

I think they just do this for press release. As a CEO your real compensation is made through stocks the board gives you, so your compensation is a function of the company's valuation. The salary is more of a symbolic thing, or pocket cash at most.

Buying back stock increases EPS (non-diluted)
One of them takes capital out and the other one puts capital in your business.
Also shareholders are more likely to approve buy backs, than paying more employees.
Common practice across the industry.

Returning 100% you may get some leniency.

I think it's gonna depend on if the customer knowingly and voluntarily signed up for their "Fully Paid Lending" program. However since shares are fungible, and are in street name, how do you know or determine whose shares the lent? I also don't understand the language on here

Banks now have Zelle and even the Fed is rolling out FedNOW, and they suck at innovation.
In 1999 their competition was Western Union charging you $$$.

When consumer defaults, bank write if off and sell it to debt collection for pennies on the dollar
Good for Lawyers, since easy to win, the win the case,

It's called borrowing. The Treasury never prints, It borrows. The Federal Reserve does the printing(creation), but the primary dealers (the one that bid on treasury auctions) have over 2 Trillion in reverse repo at the Fed.
