Went through Baseball Reference 1999 MLB Draft last night. I counted only 6 guys in the entire draft that still played in MLB. Pujols, Lackey, Brandon Phillips, Rich Hill, Ryan Raburn and me. 2002 draft I counted around 42. Tough business

In 2011 after getting released by the Padres I bought 18 unopened boxes of series 3 and 4 garbage pail. I think they were $20 a box. Opened them up and submitted the best to PSA fir $4 a card. Completed both in all 10's. Ahh the good ole days

In 1994 our Little League in Brooklyn Center, MN went to the Little League World Series, my brother was on the team, I missed it by 1 year. It was the coolest thing watching those guys play there it gave me chills. This year I get to go back with the Phillies for the LL Classic

Such a cool day seeing Jim Leyland go into the Hall of Fame. I was lucky enough to be managed by him during the 2017 World Baseball Classic.
Seeing him dance while drinking champagne when we won gold was a highlight I'll never forget, what a great guy!

Had a great time at the National today in Chicago. My son got to hold a Lou Gehrig bat but his fav thing to do was buy my cards and have me sign them then put them on the Topps trading board...he loved seeing people's reactions.

Final tally on a three box rack case (72packs) of 85 Topps. 5 Puckett's, 6 Clemens, 3 mcgwires all oc except 1 nice Clemens & mcg. 4 gem looking goodens & around 400 gem commons/stars...learned a ton & will do again soon

Bought this in 07 from a guy in Sweden...$600. it passed PSA quick opinion and I thought it was worth a shot. Also included 2 Noel Redding s and Mitch Mitchell. Guy then includes a journal about his wife getting the autographs ..crazy story!!!
