@metalpina76 But I forgot about Bill Russell. Honestly, I don't like any sport not named baseball or golf.

@TradesBaseball @1Cash28 Well, he is your profile pic and Yogi is mine, so I think we both have bias.

@TradesBaseball @1Cash28 I like it too. I wish there were more Documentaries on individual players. Yogi, Nolan, Reggie, Maddux are all good. I haven’t seen the Willie Mays one yet because I don’t have HBO or wherever it streams.

@Foustwich @1Cash28 @CardPurchaser For the Yogi solo card, I need the Purple /25 and the Light Blue /49, and just the light blue for the multi-player. I have not seen them for sale though.

@iminsearchof I have been trying to find the blue chest protector artist proof for a while now. There are a few base cards on eBay that say artist proof but the title is obviously wrong, the proof is like a refractor. Does anyone have one? 2003 Topps Gallery Hall of Fame Edition Blue Chest Protector Artist Proof. @CardPurchaser

@MilaLovesJoe Every single time, that is just who I am. It does not matter who is coming or if it means I am not next in line for whatever is inside. It is just courteous to do so.

@robwnelson My daughter and I are building this one, too. We are 44 cards away, but we need the biggest cards. Willie, Mickey, Duke, Clemente, Ted, Jackie, and Mays are still on the list. Congrats on making it to just the Mick.

The Browns knew that Rickey was a savvy and smart baseball talent evaluator. If he wasn’t interested in Berra, then why should they be? Then Rickey left the Cardinals and took the job with Brooklyn and sent Yogi an invite to spring training. However, in the interim, the Yankees were told that he would sign for $500 and was a fine prospect. Therefore he became a Yankee. So now you know the rest of the story.
"In baseball, you don't know nothing." Yogi Berra and Joe Garagiola both tried out for the Cardinals in 1941. Although Yogi had always been the better player, Joe was given a nice contract & a $500 signing bonus while Yogi was only offered a $250 contract. Yogi refused the contract unless he was given the same offer as his friend. After failing to impress the St. Louis Browns, the town’s other major-league baseball team at that time, Berra ended up working at a shoe factory. "Yogi Berra" Earl Mayan, 1957
