I wasn't a massive drinker but felt I've outgrown the stuff & didn't need it in my life!

22 months alcohol free today (and that's completely alcohol free, no blips, no sips, no nothing). 🙌
And as people ask me; Why? Is it for health, or was there some other reason? Answer: I outgrew the stuff, I enjoy my life without it, no need for it, have a great laugh daily.

Deeply saddened, heartbroken and devastated to learn of my childhood friend passing away today aged just 44, only 7 years after his beloved wife passed away, leaving behind 2 young kids (7 & 11). Life is nothing but cruel!

Today, 30th June, marks exactly 2.5 years since I last drank alcohol.
I've not had a single drop since 31st Dec 2019, that's no blips or sips!
I didn't give up for any particular reason, just felt I outgrew it and have thoroughly enjoyed life without it.

Today marks 46 months of me being completely alcohol free, not a single drop in all that time.
2 more months & that's a full 4 years (time has flown by).
Feel so much better without it, & gave it up as I outgrew the stuff, felt I no longer needed it.
Enjoying life without it!

9 years on, how time flies by! Only seems like a couple of years ago. However 9 years on to the day of Dad's passing and the pain is still as raw as ever, an open wound that will never heal. Gone but never forgotten, always in our hearts and memories, RIP Dad.

A few days short but I'm now at 27 months of no alcohol!
Absolutely zero, not even a sip, a shandy, an alcopop or anything similar.
I gave it up just because I wanted to, not due to any particular reason but am really enjoying life without that stuff.

7 yrs to the day since we lost our amazing & wonderful father, whilst he was on holiday with family in Turkey.
Perfect health, no medical issues, 4 nights in and never woke up again. No reason found.

I routinely get asked why!
Some ask if I have health related issues, some ask if it's for religion.
They can't digest that I've simply outgrown the stuff & prefer a healthier lifestyle instead.

Almost April, 15 months alcohol free! Healthy eating, fitness, working out / training etc all been in place for 15 months too. But the biggest win is zero alcohol, not ever a drop of shandy, or any carbonated / fizzy drinks for that matter too.
