Annamacharya 🪬 Purandara Dasa 🙏 Annamacharya was born in 1408, and Purandara Dasa in 1484. Annamayya composed 30k samkirtanas in Telugu, and learning of his greatness, Purandara visited him, saying, 'Your songs are sacred hymns to my soul.' People respected each other's traditions back then. There were no fixed boundaries, allowing ideas and culture to transcend easily between places. Music and kritis were already flourishing. The term 'Carnatic' was used to differentiate South Indian music from Hindustani, not to give exclusivity to any region, including Karnataka. So, let's appreciate that Purandara Dasa could have organized existing traditions, rightfully earning him the title of 'Father of Carnatic Music', but remember, there was a vibrant 'mother' of South Indian music before him. Let's all learn more about this rich history and celebrate our shared musical heritage. 😊

ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮಂದಿ ತೆಲುಗಿನವರು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾರ್ವಾಡಿಗಳು ನೆಲದೊಡೆಯರು ಕೇರಳದವರನ್ನ ಕಂಡರೆ ಆಗಲ್ವಲ್ಲ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ 'ನಮ್ಮವರು' ಅನ್ನೋ ಮಾಸ್ಕ್ ಇದರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ನಾವು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದಾಗ ಇವರ ಗ್ಯಾಂಗೆಲ್ಲ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳು ಭಾರತೀಯರು ಅವರು ಅನ್ನೋದು ಆಮೇಲೆ ಓಲಾಟ ಹಕಾರ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೇಳು ಅಂತ SM ತುಂಬ ಗೋಳಾಡ್ತರೆ ಇದೇ ಸ್ಟೇಟಲ್ಲಿ bjpigs ಬರ್ಲಿ ಸೈಲೆನ್ಟಾಯ್ತರೆ!
ಕೇರಳ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾಗ್ ಒಂದ್ ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಸಮುದ್ರತೀರ ಜಾಗ ನೋಡಿದೆ. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೇಳ್ದೆ ಇದು ಎಷ್ಟ್ ಆಗುತ್ತೆ ಅಂತ, 35-40 ಲಕ್ಷ ಅಂದ. ನಾವು ತಗೋಬಹುದಾ ಅಂತ ಕೇಳ್ದೆ “ನಿಮ್ಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಡಲ್ಲ ನಾವು ಬರಿ ನಮ್ಮವರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಮಾರೋದು” ಅಂದ. ಆದರೆ HD ಕೋಟೆ ಇಂದ ಮೈಸೂರ್ ತನಕ ಬೇಕಾದಷ್ಟು ಜಾಗ ಅವ್ರೆ ತಗೊಂಡಿದರೆ. ನಮ್ ಜನ ಯಾವಾಗ್ ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಕಲಿತರೋ 😭🙏
