DIDN’T WE TELL YOU, MR. KARAN THAPAR? @KaranThaapar @thewire_in For them, this is just another excuse to push their agenda for a Separate Christian State in the Indo-Myanmar border region. 1.They first claimed that the violence erupted due to the burning of a centenary gate, when, in reality, no such burning ever took place and no evidence to prove but just a premeditated allegations. 2.They then accused the Meetei of ethnically cleansing the Kukis from Imphal, when in fact, the opposite occurred. Meetei communities in Churachandpur, Kangpokpi, and Moreh were systematically wiped out, with entire villages and colonies razed to the ground within the first month of the violence. 3.Shielding Their Own DGP’s Inaction, they placed the blame on the Chief Minister, ignoring the fact that their own DGP, a Kuki-Zomi officer, deliberately failed to act. He refused to intervene when armed Kuki militants in combat dress approached, and despite multiple calls from the CM himself, he did nothing to contain the violence. 4.They then turned their narrative against CM Biren, demanding his resignation as a precondition for any discussion. But now, as the unimaginable unfolds, they have no real justification left, only deceitful statements crafted to further their separatist agenda. Deceitful leaders breed deceitful politics. Now they are prepared to betray and fight India too as they now have mobilised enough wealth and weapons to sustain a military operation during their time with the Indian state under the disguise of SoO agreements for the last 15 years. Now they are confident, even if India fails to cooperate with their demand they are ready to challenge and hence the attitude of the BJP MLA representing Kuki Separatist groups. But I assure the people of Manipur that as long as the Manipuri people exist, Paolienlal and his narco-terrorist group will never succeed in their demands. REMEMBER WHAT I SAID THE OTHER DAY TO YOU “EVEN IF HEAVEN FALLS NO SEPARATION OF MANIPUR”. @PIBHomeAffairs @AmitShah @PMOIndia @rashtrapatibhvn @NBirenSingh @himantabiswa @NIA_India @CBIHeadquarters @manipur_police @ndtv @IndiaTodayNE @News9Tweets @PTI_News @CNNnews18 @news18 @PoknaphamNews @sktvmanipur

Mizoram: The Epicenter of Narco-Terrorism in the Northeast The crisis in Manipur is no longer an ordinary situation, it is a full-blown assault on the state by narco-terrorist networks, with Mizoram at the core of facilitating illicit smuggling and trade. Since Manipur took a firm stand against narco-terrorism, Mizoram has actively provided logistical support to these networks, opposing the closure of the Myanmar border and resisting the suspension of the Free Movement Regime (FMR). It has become a safe haven for armed elements threatening regional stability. Union Home Minister Amit Shah must stop evading this reality by labeling it as “legacy ethnic tensions.” The issue is not ethnic, it is a fight against a deeply entrenched narco-terrorist nexus. Kiren Rijiju must also rise above mere political rhetoric and acknowledge the truth. Enough of the lies and scripted responses. Manipur is fighting for its survival, and the Union Government must act decisively before it is too late. @ANI @AmitShah @KirenRijiju @ndtv @CNNnews18
Guwahati's STF, led by Additional SP Kalyan Kumar Pathak, seized 600 grams of heroin worth Rs 4 crore in Amingaon. The contraband was hidden in a secret chamber inside a truck and was being smuggled from Mizoram to Lower Assam. Police arrested Amir Hussain Khan from Barpeta in connection with the smuggling operation. Investigations are ongoing. #HeroinSeized #GuwahatiSTF #DrugBust

Is India’s Legitimizing Narco-Terrorism in Northeast?? A Threat to Regional and Global Security For over three decades, the Indian state has nurtured narco-terrorist networks in the hill areas of Manipur, leading to a full-fledged crisis that threatens both indigenous communities and regional stability. The world has seen the horrors of “Blood Diamond” conflicts in Africa, but in India’s Northeast, a more insidious reality unfolds “Blood Opium.” The video shared by Meitei Heritage is a stark testament to this crisis, where assault rifle-wielding men in football uniforms (Suspected to be one of the Kuki Narco-Terror groups like KNF(P)) are seen casually playing a football match. This disturbing reality highlights how deeply embedded armed groups have become in the region’s daily life, operating with impunity. The normalization of heavily armed militants in public spaces underscores the extent to which the rule of law has eroded in the hills of Manipur. Under the guise of counterinsurgency and development policies, the Indian state has enabled drug cartels operating in the region. These cartels, much like the Taliban’s narcotics-funded regime, have flourished, sustaining armed groups that unleash terror on civilians. The illicit drug trade originating from Myanmar’s Golden Triangle, one of the world’s largest opium-producing regions has found safe passage into India, where it thrives unchecked. The Meetei civilians and other local populations face systemic violence funded by the drug trade economy. A heavily armed, drug-financed network is taking root in the hills of Manipur India’s Northeast is fast becoming a major hub in the global drug trade. The international community must take note of India’s role in this crisis and hold it accountable for fueling a conflict that mirrors some of the darkest chapters of global history. If left unchecked, this dangerous policy will not only devastate Manipur but also have catastrophic consequences for global security. @UNODC
This video of a football tournament in Manipur has gone viral on social media. What is deeply disturbing is the open display of sophisticated weapons by the so called footballers. Or is it a football tournament of Kuki Militants? We urge the authorities to investigate this open display of assault rifles. @NBirenSingh @AmitShah @kuldiep86 @official_dgar

The KNF has suddenly turned into a motivational coach for their illegal immigrant settlers, ordering them not to run away. How inspiring! No village names were mentioned (of course, why be specific when you can be vague?), but the message was clear, Don’t flee, or else the Nagas and Meeteis will reclaim their own land! It’s almost touching how these “liberators” have gone from demanding separate homelands to babysitting their own settlers, fearing that reality might catch up. Perhaps next, they’ll issue a guide on How to Stay Put When History Is Against You.

A note from an Indian traveller friend and my observation in the reality of Manipur crisis. As we pass through areas dominated by Kuki villages, the strong smell of opium (we called Kani) often lingers in the air. Locals frequently mention that bikers arrive to collect the harvested opium latex, a highly valuable commodity. Opium farming has become an emerging trend within the Kuki community, especially after the deceitful Suspension of Operation (SoO) agreement between the Government of India and armed immigrant Kuki groups. This agreement allowed these groups to consolidate their control over territories, leading to the destruction of Manipur’s lush evergreen forests in hill areas dominated by them. Elites and Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) are reportedly benefiting from this illegal activity under the banner of “Kukiland.” This so-called Kukiland is being romanticized by foreign-origin armed group leaders like P.S. Haokip, in his book Zalengam for the Kukis, and Thanglianpau Guite, for the Paites or Zomis. Meanwhile, Kuki youth are being indoctrinated with fabricated histories and manipulated identities, driving hatred toward the Nagas and Meeteis. They are encouraged to fight for an unattainable goal while justifying their involvement in the lucrative poppy trade under the guise of survival. The broader Indian audience, unaware of the ground realities, often misinterprets the situation, viewing Kukis as oppressed minorities or victims based on their Christian identity. In truth, they are actively destroying Manipur’s forests and contributing to narco-terrorism. Their loyalty to any cause is opportunistic, and they are quick to shift allegiances when presented with better prospects. The indigenous people of Manipur describe this crisis as narco-terrorism because armed groups are directly controlling the narcotics trade under the pretext of liberation or demands for separate administration. These groups actively guard poppy farms, restrict access to the areas, and fiercely resist any attempts by state forces or local volunteers to destroy these plantations. The narcotics economy funds their armed activities, enabling them to wage war against the Meetei civilian population and spread terror. Address this escalating crisis with urgent and decisive policies: 1.Crackdown on Kuki Narco-Terrorist Groups: Security forces must take immediate action to seize control of armed groups funded by the narcotics economy. 2.Identify and Manage Illegal Immigrants: Conduct a thorough identification of illegal immigrants and foreigners, provide them with humanitarian aid in designated shelter camps, and eventually repatriate them to their places of origin. 3.Eradicate Poppy Cultivation: Deploy sufficient security forces to identify and destroy all poppy cultivation areas in the hills of Manipur. 4.Investigate the Violence of May 3, 2023: Launch a detailed investigation into the origins of the violence, particularly focusing on those in combat uniforms and wielding assault rifles who initiated attacks on Meetei villages in Churachandpur. 5.Provide Justice and Compensation: Ensure compensation for all victims of the ongoing conflict. 6.Prepare for NRC Implementation: Establish a framework to conduct a comprehensive National Register of Citizens (NRC) in Manipur. 7.Dismantle Illegal Villages: Identify and dismantle all unauthorized settlements. 8.Engage in Dialogue with Civilian Kukis: Open channels for dialogue with Kuki civilians who reject the drug trade and aspire to lead peaceful, law-abiding lives in Manipur. Addressing these issues holistically is essential to restoring peace and stability in Manipur. It requires a clear understanding of the crisis and coordinated efforts to tackle the root causes, ensuring a sustainable future for all communities in the state. WHAT EVER TOLD ARE OF NATIONAL SECURITY INTEREST AND NOTHING ELSE, and WHY IS THE GOVT OF INDIA EVADING SUCH REALITY? Ask. @AmitShah @narendramodi

They (the narco-terrorist separatist groups belonging to Chin-Kuki) think they are winning. So, dare to tagged me! The drugs that have been flawlessly smuggled from Myanmar by your kindred narco-terrorist groups have devastated the lives of thousands of youths, not only in Imphal but also in your own neighbourhoods and communities. Open your eyes; you are ignoring the consequences of your own actions. While you attempt to celebrate the victimhood of others, take a moment to reflect on the reality your own people are facing. Churachandpur has long suffered under this scourge. For the past three to four decades, it has remained one of the worst HIV-affected districts in the Northeast. Today, this crisis is compounded by rampant drug abuse, prostitution, and narco-terrorism. What is there to celebrate when within a 100-km radius, everyone is a victim of the very darkness you have nurtured? Instead of taking pleasure in the misery of others, heed the wisdom of your Holy Bible: Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!Isaiah 5:20 It is never too late to turn away from this path of destruction. True strength lies not in profiting from the downfall of others but in rising together to heal and restore. Or you are the most deceiving Christian Lord Jesus has ever came across!

Gunbattle at Indo-Myanmar Border: KNA-B vs. Suspected PLA Cadres Enters Third Day The Dawn Tantak( TDT) Ukhrul,Jan'29,2025 A fierce gunfight between the Kuki National Army-Burma (KNA-B) and suspected People’s Liberation Army (PLA) cadres has continued for the third consecutive day near Border Pillar No. 87 in Yaingoupk/Wangli village, Kamjong district, close to the Indo-Myanmar border. According to reports, the clashes began near Namlee Village when KNA-B launched attacks on the Manipur-based rebel group at multiple locations along the border. On January 27, at least 22 KNA-B cadres were reportedly killed, and 14 sophisticated weapons were recovered from them. The violence escalated further today, with nine more KNA-B cadres allegedly killed and an additional eight weapons seized. The fighting has also spread to areas near New Kotha Khunou village in Kamjong district, heightening tensions along the border. Unofficial sources suggest that the total casualty count on the KNA-B side may have reached around 31 over the past three days. Some of the bodies recovered reportedly had Aadhaar cards listing addresses from Kangpokpi and Churachandpur, raising concerns about the involvement of individuals from Manipur’s Kuki-dominated districts. The exact number of casualties remains unconfirmed, as security forces have yet to release an official statement. The situation remains volatile, and further developments are awaited. EVER WONDER, THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST AMONG THE REBEL GROUPS?? N.B.: At certain points in time, some separatist groups in X have claimed that KNAB is not linked to KNA in Manipur, India. However, The truth continues to unfold with each passing day. Additionally, local sources have confirmed that two cadres from PLA and UNLF were also killed in action.

It’s encouraging to see people like you coming forward. Let’s work together to identify every individual so that only genuine citizens can shape our collective future in a rightful and holistic manner. This is not about targeting any particular community but about ensuring that every person, including myself, undergoes the same verification process. A fair and transparent NRC, based on established criteria, will help us uphold the integrity of our citizenship and secure our future.
