Police are growing concerned for the welfare of Michael Chitowo, 17, last seen in south Belfast on Friday 25/11/22. He is 5”11, of slim build and is believed to be wearing a grey tracksuit, grey trainers and a black beanie hat. Anyone with any information should contact police.
Detectives investigating a series of incidents during which a number of women were assaulted in South Belfast on Monday night have arrested a 38 year old man in Belfast. He has been taken to Musgrave Station for questioning.

Heroin with a street value of £15,000 was seized by Belfast District Support Team officers following the search of a car on the A1 carriageway near Newry on Sunday. A man and woman have been arrested and remain in custody assisting with our enquiries.

Auto Crime Team have arrested a 22 year old male following a vehicle stop on Waring Street in the city centre.
A search of the vehicle also resulted in this extremely dangerous knife being recovered and taken off the streets.

We have noticed an increase in some pavement parking in the city centre, some of which is obstructing access to premises. We have been encouraging motorists to use the available on street parking or the various car parks about the city, but we will issue tickets where appropriate

Officers from our International Policing Unit extradited a man, aged in his 30s, to Romania on Monday, 19th June. He will now serve a prison sentence there for a number of convictions.
Neighbourhood officers from Central Team in Musgrave stopped two men today in the city centre. We seized a quantity of drugs and stolen property and both men were subsequently arrested. We are determined to help our retailers and take drugs off the streets.

Police in Belfast investigating the assault of a cyclist in Waring Street on Monday 6th August have charged two men aged 22 and 28 with attempted grievous bodily harm with intent. Both men are due to appear at Belfast MC later today.

A man (38) has been charged with offences incl 5 x 'assault occasioning actual bodily harm', 1 x 'attempted GBH with intent' & 1 x 'possession of an offensive weapon' in connection with a no. of stabbing incidents in Belfast this week. He is due at Belfast Magistrates tomorrow.
