85 years ago, Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union organised a joint military parade in occupied Brest-on-the-Bug. For the next 6 years, Poland suffered total occupation, full of mass executions and deportations. Today, we remember those who bravely fought against the occupiers.

On September 17th, 1939, Poles were suddenly forced to fight on two fronts. The Soviet occupation brought terror, mass executions, and deportations. Today, we honour the memory of soldiers and civilians who endured these dark times.

Poland is disturbed by the shrinking humanitarian space in Gaza. 🇺🇳 @WFP convoy was struck by gunfire. Thankfully, no one was hurt, unlike in the IDF attack on @WCKitchen , which left 7 dead, including a 🇵🇱 citizen. Safety and security of aid workers in Gaza must be ensured.
