I rolled over in bed while pregnant and ripped my stomach muscles ^_^ I vomited multiple times daily every day for the whole pregnancy and lost 20lbs instead of gaining any weight. I have to be very careful or I pee when I laugh or caugh because of extensive tearing.

Oh right I also got memory loss from the pregnancy and perminent metabolic consequences from the starvation. And the birth fucked me up bad enough - with the help of a doctor who sewed me up wrong - that I found sex unbearably painful for two years.

Periods are normal and not disgusting BUT there IS blood and biological waste involved and as such it needs to be cleaned properly. Especially in public spaces. It can become a problem. If i cut my arm open it's not great to get it everywhere and not clean up properly either.

My grandmother barely blinked the first time I sat her down and explained one of my friends was a different gender than we thought and had a different name now. She took all of a few moments to process it and then was all "ok" and adapted; because my grandmother had manners.
