Remember in 2014 when scientist Matt Taylor landed the Philae probe on a comet and that one feminist bitch threw a hissy fit because he wore a shirt with scantily clad women on it?
This dude got so utterly destroyed and canceled in the ensuing struggle session that he broke down
@blogTO
Capitalism is so efficient that it can even capitalize on the anti-capitalist sentiment.
The market has actually managed to take socialism and commodity it, turning it into a consumer trend. And the most astonishing part is that progressives don't even notice it's happening.
I thought it was pretty cool how the nightsister map in
#Ahsoka
is a visual callback to Captain Flint's spherical holographic map in Treasure Planet
It even unlocks with the same kind of rotational mechanism and projects a panoramic view of the Galaxy.
The pointless swearing in this Castlevania show is embarrassing. These are supposed to be grown adults, no?
Why are they talking like edgy 2009-era teenagers on Xbox Live?
This is like a 14-year-old's conception of what a mature story is supposed to be like.
That's a nice strawman.
Of course, the reality is actually closer to something like this.
Please excuse the crudity of this vile thing. Finger drawing on phone screens isn't easy.
Lore is bad. Lore is the art killer. Lore is the for the wiki, for the database-narrative. Lore strangles narrative. There is no good lore. Anything good attributed to "lore", it is storytelling breaching through its smog
I edited Wookieepedia for almost ten years, from its inception in 2005 up until 2014.
I gave up on this site a long time ago when the expanded universe was discontinued and the focus of the wiki shifted to Disney stuff.
That was my early warning sign to bail. Now, a decade
Iโm all for gay rights, but youโre a Star Wars wiki. People read you for Star Wars facts.
Not everything needs to be so performatively socially minded and queer.

"Just because the Chinese administrators in the bureaucratic government of China covered the whole fucking thing up for months and doomed the rest of the planet, doesn't mean it was the fault of any Chinese people in China."
You're brain dead, son.
Get this: in a matter of TWO WEEKS, the Seattle Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone fast forwarded through ALL of the stages of a communist utopia, culminating in tyranny and a body count.
They actually managed in two weeks what took the Soviets 70 years.
This footages from France, in 1896. Fucking unbelievable.
These old films become immediately relatable when you correct their frame rates and add a dash if color to them.
Suddenly, the Victorian Period is real. I can almost touch it.
This is one of the most condescending headlines I have ever seen in my life.
In a year, nobody will remember this trash fucking game.
Nobody will acknowledge it ever even existed.
It will leave no positive impact whatsoever.
I have never liked this chip idea.
I know it makes the clone troopers more like victims, which plays into their more human and sympathetic portrayal in the CG animated show, but I just much preferred it back when it was the clones' own decision to obey order 66.
By taking this
Every animated show produced in the west these days looks like "budget anime". I think it's sad.
We could do with introducing some distinct visual identity back into the western animation industry.
I get that the anime aesthetic is super popular and sells well - never more so
@pcgamer
I thought this was self-evident, but communists don't believe in human nature as a fixed, stable category, so they necessarily have to reject the original writers' premise in favor of their own twisted interpretation.
โI want it to be about the work. I want to be a good director, not a good female director, not a good Asian director."
And you fucking are. You did brilliant job with the episode and it's EXACTLY the reason why this show has been so well-received.
The term 'Latinx' will never take off in serious public discourse.
It will never leave the psychotic left-wing echo chamber it was conceived in.
Using this word unironically doesn't make you look progressive or inclusive. It makes you look fucking creepy and cultish.
The Seattle Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone LARP is over.
The kids couldn't go for one day without food, so they left.
True, radical purveyors of revolutionary change, no doubt.

Word prompts don't make you an artist. They make you a word prompter. You're not making art. Of any sort.
You're punching keywords into an algorithm and telling it to generate an image based on those.
What you're doing is the equivalent of Captain Picard telling the replicator
Things Rey just took for her own without earning them:
-Anakin Skywalker's lightsaber
-Luke Skywalker's X-Wing
-Kylo Ren's life
-The Millennium Falcon
-The Skywalker name
Marvel's The Rise of Kylo Ren fills in some big holes in Ben Solo's story, his connection to the Knights of Ren, and what happened when Luke Skywalker faced them.
Anakin Skywalker contra Asajj Ventress on Yavin 4. Full fight in crisp high-definition.
A masterclass in how to create an effective interplay of tension and release via editing and sound dynamics.
Tartakovsky sure was something.
Millennials and zoomers grew up with an entire trilogy of movies about false institutions, evil leaders, and government overreach, and they took absolutely nothing away from it.
@Sargon_of_Akkad
The whole post just screams narcissism. Like it's literally nothing other than just her talking about herself and her social needs at the expense of his. "Me, me, me, me, me."
She doesn't love him at all and he'd do well to pack his nerdy models and run as fast as he can.

This tall commando droid daddy in a duster is making me feel funny things.
Can we have some more droids wearing clothing pls?
@reedy_moss
The swearing has been a point of criticism since Castlevania debuted on Netflix many years ago.
It's embarrassing and infantile and doesn't need to exist in the show.
One of the funniest things ever was when Indy 4 came out and everybody hated the nuking-the-fridge scene and blamed it on George Lucas for some reason, and then Steven Spielberg came out and admitted that the scene was his idea.
@ydi99
@realDonaldTrump
@Markfry809
Does she look dead to you?
Looks to me like the non-lethal ammunition did its job.
It's NON-LETHAL ammo, not non-painful ammo.
Has anyone ever stopped to pay attention to the fact that all of these left-wing beta male feminist cucks have the same kind of facial features?
Like, they all look as though they're brothers or something.
It's really disturbing.
These stories don't exist for you to find yourself in them. That's not why they were created. That's a postmodern, subject-oriented view of storytelling.
These stories exist to teach you values. They're there to give you tools so that you can find yourself in the "real world."
I love how every George Lucas sighting ever caught on camera has this indescribable, powerful cryptid energy.
He's like a glorious, silver-maned sasquatch who keeps appearing where you least expect him.
@prismmxrose
And China's lack of basic human rights and dignity lays the festering groundwork necessary for such exploitation.
China is a shithole. That's the long and short of it.
Today I found out that Christopher Lee was one of the British soldiers who volunteered to fight for the Finnish armed forces during the Winter War in 1939.
I had no idea. What a chad.
Thanks for your service, Count.
Reminder that Ian McDiarmid has not only read James Luceno's Darth Plagueis novel, but also requested it personally from the Del Rey booth at Star Wars Celebration Orlando in 2017.
McDiarmid remains one of the only actors in the series to have delved into the Expanded Universe.
How do you even watch the prequel trilogy and come away with the conception that the director intended to portray the Jedi as bad people?
The Jedi holocaust at Sith hands is played as a tragedy that we as the audience are meant to feel sympathy for.
Most people don't understand the true impact of Lucasfilm
In 1982, George Lucas invested 40 million dollars into developing the world's first non-linear editing system in hopes of digitizing the process of film cutting and editing
In 1984 that project yielded the EditDroid

Fuck this fedora-tipping reddit lord and his cringy brand of nihilism.
He made an entire TV show around this insufferable cunty persona and whoever greenlit that shit and unleashed it on the world deserves to perish.
In 2012, six dedicated fans with skills in construction and free time, traveled to Chott El Jerid, Tunisia, to restore the Lars Homestead to its former glory.
The set had been sitting there alone, and abandoned since 2001, and the elements were taking a devastating toll on it.
To this day I remain convinced that Rey's entire character design was lifted wholesale from Jarael
They're both young women who scavenge for a living, wear the same color scheme and use a staff weapon in combat
Difference is, Jarael is interesting and cool while Rey is not
All Star Wars fans should feel mortified and offended at The Rise of Skywalker, especially those of us who care about the Skywalker family.
Embrace Legends, accept no substitute.
@washingtonpost
You might wanna ask yourself where all these supply chain problems suddenly came from. They materialized out of nowhere. And it's no coincidence.
It's premeditated and purposeful.
HOLY. FUCKING. SHIT.
Never in a million years did I think I'd ever see it, but some total madman has finally done it; we finally have a Darth Malak cosplay, and the best part is that it looks INCREDIBLE
I can't even imagine the effort that must have gone into this. Unbelievable
