PSA: If you are a DO student and anyone is “advising” that you do not need the USMLE they are flat out wrong. Take the test, and keep as many options as possible open no matter what specialty you pursue. You shouldn’t have to debate or contemplate this, just take both tests.

Disappointed to confirm that the AAMC has removed the “Hobbies & Interests” field from the 2024 ERAS application. It might seem trivial, but that small field had value, and it’s going to make interviews less interesting and personal.

1/3 My 48th manuscript was accepted for publication! Crazy. I started doing #research with no experience in October 2016. To be where I am 4 years later is humbling and mind blowing. I am very excited to get to 50 and have some great stuff in the pipeline!

Cadaver labs with the team. Working on approaches, anatomy, and becoming more familiar with the implants. Our amazing nurses, xray, and scrub techs stick around after hours frequently to help us in these labs. #orthotwitter
