Ukrainians pulled lots of troops to Dnipro river and Zaporizhzhiya, including marine brigades from Vremevka. They posturing as if they will cross the river and make another attempt near Robotyne. But it may be just a ploy to keep Russians on defensive.

I'm convinced that entire US/UK plan now is to freeze the conflict by cutting off the Crimea and causing serious economic situation there. Hoping that Russia will freeze conflict to deal with this issue. However, now Russia can get more long range missile from N. Korea and Iran.

The largest group of people are those that don't care what flag they will live under, as long as war stops. So, it's almost winner takes all. If Russians take Odessa, between those that don't care and those that pro-Russian, you get solid 70% support.

Russia has extensive canal network between major rivers and seas in European part of Russia. They can move small ships between Baltic, White, Black, and Caspian Sea. They can also build ships inland. The ship size limit is 130 or 210 meters, beam 16-17 meters, daft 3.5-4 meters.

Like I said, after the failure of "counter offensive" the plan now is to bomb Crimea to force Russia to freeze the conflict. The freezing of the conflict could be still sold as victory for Ukraine and would allow Nato to rearm Ukraine. I think it's unlikely to work.

Even if Zelensky is successful with "total mobilization" of another 200K. I struggle to see where weapons and training will come from. The only place to get this equipment is to completely gut US Army and it still does not solve issue of artillery. Just another year of bleeding.

By upgrading ATACMS US is recovering 50% of initial value, plus improving performance. It also a bridge measure. Yes, US has ATACMS replacement, but it is likely will not be avaliable in quantity needed for war until 2035. If US gives ATACMS to Ukr now, we will not have shit.

What Patricia missed that Russians are also learning to operate against entire Nato's ISR, SIGINT, HUMINT, cyber warfare, etc. All those satellites, Global Hawks, AWACS, Rivet Joint, etc. Russians were able to overcome it, during offensive and now.
