Market is oversold.

Too much intervention to artificially peg DUSD to $1.00. We are in this situation because liquidity in the whole crypto market is drying up.
Perhaps there is no need to do anything more and let nature take its course?

You don’t know what you are talking about. $TSLA can swing drastically and may takes many years to reach new ATH. In that time, Yieldmax investors are collecting dollars every month. To compare total return, you need to use a longer data period which is lacking now.

The lower drawdowns of a hedged portfolio could enable aleveraged portfolio thus greater return.

Collected $508 premium within 2 days of selling the call options on $TSLA. I closed it at 80% of profit instead of waiting for expiration which is next Friday.
I did not sell any new call options, plan to wait till next trading day to do so. Usually a major red day will be

This is an APAC strategy to balance the influence of China. It is also consistent with US interests.
Otherwise, the negotiating table will be tilted towards China. This is necessary for smaller countries to avoid being the item on the food menu of the dining table with China.

Long term, if you're bullish on $TSLA but prefer approaching it from an income perspective, $TSLY is a good fund to consider as of the date of this post. Assuming it continues with this yield, one can breakeven in less than 2 years.

Trimmed some $OARK position and opened new positions in $FBY, $AMZY and $NVDY. Keeping $TSLY untouched. Hedging positions adjusted slightly to match the trimming.
Also added $SVOL to enhance income predictability. It’s been paying $0.32 per month for a long time.

Agree with you on this. Investing is very personal. A person’s age, financial circumstances, geographic location and taxations impacts one’s investment strategy. This is why I am unable to invest in $TSLY because my tax is too high.

$TSLQ is an inverse ETF of $TSLA stock, which means it goes up when $TSLA goes down. By holding both $TSLY and $TSLQ, you can reduce the overall volatility of your portfolio.

Upside is not completely capped. The Out of the money strike price of $TSLY covered call does capture some of the upside. Given TSLA has been performing better than $SCHD all these years, even with a slower upside, $TSLY should do well.

Rerun this again with the august data when it’s available. $TSLA has has been absolutely tearing up till July. There is no way a covered call ETF $TSLY can beat that. August has a huge drawdown, that’s when covered call strategy will shine better.

My strategy for $TSLY is purely focused on the income. Capital appreciation is secondary. This is why I have a hedging position of about 30% of my portfolio by shorting TSLL which removes 50% of volatility. Yesterday’s move is the best justification.
