We’ve gotten tons of feedback at @MEGAZuzalu and the name didn’t quite hit the mark. Showdown captures the spirit of the game much better! We’re planning to do more live events, so people can try our game. Starting this Sunday in Bangkok at World Computer Day! More info soon!

@blueclarityone Not the first to tell you but as a @0xMegaMafia member I can safely say the Megaeth team’s first priority is to have great dapps. That’s like the sole reason behind it. There’s bunch of great DeFI projects like @GTE_XYZ @valhallaperps @Euphoria_fi @avon_xyz and @tekofinance.

Lesson #2 from Maro's famous GDC talk and how we're using it in @Showdown_TCG: "Fighting against human nature is a losing battle." In Showdown, the game loop is straightforward - you either play a card or pass priority to your opponent. While initially testing the game with the boys, we’d always say “pass.” But once we showed the game to others, something different happened. Since Showdown is inspired by poker, it was natural for people to say “check” when passing priority. At first, I’d correct them because I was so used to saying “pass.” But after seeing hundreds of people play, I’ve given up. “Check” it is, and “check” it will stay.
