Much of my work is grounded in my identity as an Anishinaabe Kwe; however, that’s not all I am. I think it’s important to recognize that I am a complex and entire human being outside of my work. More folx need to understand this.

@MegW613 @Joyhenderson78 We grow our own & preserve, my kid works at the farmers market (we’ve gone there since he was learning to walk) and we have such great racialized markets/stores here too. It hasn’t been hard for us to divest (even more than we had) but it’s new and/or hard for one stop shoppers.
