It's happening because the non acute facilities, cottage hospitals etc were closed down, sold off to developers by Thatcher, continued by Blair then successive govt. Now acute beds are full, social care bursting, elderly in flux . That's how.

I agree with you, many councils are top heavy in overpaid beauracrates that swan around in suits on expenses, talking shops that achieve nothing. It's much the same in the NHS. But why do the Tories feel it necessary to punish the people who pay their salaries? Overhaul required

I believe it was started in 1946 when the British left Palestine and allowed the Jews a permanent homeland. That homeland was Palestine, where Jewish and Arab and Christian had lived together previously. Then the Jews sought to push out all the others and rename it Israel.
