@mrdanwalker 60,000 per day at Cheltenham. 5.5 million per day on the tube. 217,000 per day through Heathrow alone, let alone other airports. They’re still open too. There’s a lot of places that need scrutiny ahead of Cheltenham. It’s a similar easy target to footballers wages.

Blackbow gets the last wrong. I don't think I've ever captured a horse with his back end propelling him through the air, whilst one leg is still on the ground at the hurdle. I was so pleased to see him get up and run off. He remains probably the most striking horse in training.

Around a month ago, I managed to get a week of photography in Kenya. Covid test, temperature checks, and a sole occupancy tent were some of the controls. It was an incredible week though. Here's some of my favourites - 3 month old Leopard cubs, figuring out they've been spotted.

@DavidKHopps @rickeyrecricket In cricket, Afghanistan just beat England. at a similar stage of the Rugby World Cup there were games that were so one sided, that the bookmakers weren't taking bets on the favourites. It's had high intensity quarter finals -the cricket will be high intensity before that stage.

I was so sad to land back in Dublin to the news that Blackbow had taken a fatal fall. He's a horse I was regularly mesmerised by at the races. He was always impeccably turned out, and had a huge presence. Thoughts with Steph, Jason, @turftalktom and all other connections

Just listening to the Nick Luck daily Podcast - found it pretty frustrating, and very sad to hear the way that Bryony Frost is being affected by comments from within racing, and some of the stuff thrown at her. The mantra "Nowt nice to say, then say nowt" has rarely been more apt.
