Family members confirm to me that 16-year-old Cordae Carter sadly passed away after being shot at the football game. So far, no further information on the suspect has been released.

The sheriffs office is only investigating the off-duty officer’s involvement. They will interview him soon. He is on paid administrative leave. Deputies are adding a link to the sheriffs office website for witnesses to submit video for evidence.
