As part of our physical literacy program, OSP youths chopped firewood at the Squamish First Nations sweat lodge last Saturday. Guided by Hintons, our Jr member Nicholas learned how to chop the wood and completed the task in the rain. 🪵🌧️

Registration is open for Intro to Kids Judo class!! 🥋✨ The Introductory for 8 – 11 year olds will run over 10 weeks and includes a free judo gi. Kids will learn the fundamental movements and skills of judo through engaging fun games and activities!

At the end of our journey, we climbed for two hours to the top of Fushimi Shrine at Kyoto. There was a lot of climbing in Kyoto, which helped us stay fit! 🥾

After visiting Taiwan, the group arrived in Tokyo, Japan. The OSP Police Judo Team had the opportunity to watch the Tokyo Judo Grand Slam, and stayed at the Kodoken where the judo originated in 1882 and founded by Kano Jigoro.
