New @AvantiWestCoast service starting from 16th December! A brand new fast service from Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston in under 2 hours!

@Electra88007 @AvantiWestCoast There may be the odd few that get confused however as this is an extra service, people shouldn't be too confused (as long as they read the stops carefully on the departure board)

@Samuelw95453240 @AvantiWestCoast The only Avanti service you could take that goes via the Trent Valley line would be the Manchester Piccadilly one I guess, but that one runs non-stop to Stoke-On-Trent which is tricky if you want to go north of Crewe.

@dog_gem @AvantiWestCoast It's mainly been done to increase early services on the London to Birmingham services. This will also mean an additional Liverpool to London Euston service.

@Samuelw95453240 @AvantiWestCoast The Liverpool service is an extra one so you'll still get the same services as now but if you wanted to catch the Edinburgh service you'd need to change at Coventry, Birmingham International or New Street

@EWSTrains No, that's not what I meant. Hull Trains will be the only operator from the ECML running to London, however they ran their services to St Pancras instead of King's Cross.

My next Train is a 4 Carriage CrossCountry Voyager on the service to Newcastle via Doncaster

First time I've seen a Class 730 in the right place 😂! So used to seeing these on service to/from London Euston.
