My thoughts: Google trusts my site & knows us for our long-form underdog stories. So it makes sense that they want us to keep feeding them those. But I'm shocked by how fast the stories get picked up by Google in comparison to SEO-style content (lists, etc.) Stories drive *some* organic traffic for us, but are mostly newsletter, social, and brand awareness plays. SEO content is our site's primary traffic driver (at least for now). Speed to indexation is a very small part of this whole picture, but feels like a signal as to what big G wants to see from our brand specifically. Overall goals are still the same: β’ Grow owned audience (Underdog Newsletter) β’ Grow direct traffic to the site (making it our #1 traffic source)
