Surprising no is talking about the cost to maintain a home (heating, utilities, upkeep, etc.) when talking affordability. I may have missed it in your other pieces. Better built home cheaper in the long run when accounting for the maintenance costs.

Following the Prime Minister’s Canada-U.S. Economic Summit, the Hon. @AnitaAnandMP, Minister of Transport and Internal Trade, joined the OCC for an insightful Ontario Business Advisory Council roundtable on interprovincial trade. The discussion included a focus on the importance of mutual recognition agreements, credential recognition, and regulatory harmonization across industries and professions including energy, insurance, transportation, engineering, accounting and more. As long-time advocates for the removal of internal trade barriers, the OCC extends its sincere thanks to Minister Anand for her time and leadership on this file. A special thanks to @agnicoeagle, for hosting this important conversation.

Guess he was wrong! When we need a united response to threats to Canadian Businesses due to unwarranted & unnecessary tariffs, these types of comments are ill advised & counter intuitive. Good thing he wasn't included in the Canada-US Relations Council. Hope now he knows why!

This is good news. A number of projects were halted and on hold until approvals and reviews by Ontario Government Engineers were completed. These engineers should be compensated at industry levels for doing the same jobs and needing the same Licencing requirements as P.Engs.

Today, @OntarioCofC’s Senior Manager of Public Affairs, @accarmonaosp, joined Minister @Sflecce and key energy and labour stakeholders for an important announcement on energy generation expansion.  The Ontario Government has directed Ontario Power Generation to launch comprehensive stakeholder and community engagement across its existing sites in Port Hope, Haldimand County, and St. Clair Township—marking a critical step in addressing the province's evolving energy needs.   OCC President and CEO @DanTisch underscored the significance of this collaborative approach during a moment of critical energy infrastructure development: "By bringing stakeholders together and focusing on local benefits, we can drive economic growth while building public and business confidence."
