Disagree. I spoke to a number of people about Rangnick following his appointment. The common response was, he’s not a great manager, but a great builder. Utd would be showing more incomptence if they ignore the influence he can have as an advisory.
The Rangnick consultancy thing at United sounded like a good idea but never seemed to have a great deal of structure or detail to it. Now it doesn’t even sound like a good idea. He’s been an enormous disappointment.
