First it's best to give context to myself and my content. I'm primarily a TCG content creator. Post debut I averaged around 70 ccv and through what I've learned grew to having a ccv average of 400-800 ccv (we'll explain why the range is so wide later on in the thread.

If you pick a niche make sure it's something you kinda like or else you'll go insane. Don't pick something just because you think it's popular. Also don't rely on commissioning everyone. Id recommended at least learning the basics of editing. This hobby is super expensive LOL

If we're talking YouTube thumbnail imo text usually looks pretty bad especially if it's a full sentence. Game logos aren't always necessary. Imo it looks cleaner to just have things associated with your game on the thumbnail than things associated with it and the logo
