Jay Slater lived a life of crime. Was involved in gang-crime; attacked a kid with a machete; was a drug mule and dealer. Death is unfortunate, but practically invited when you tread down that lifestyle. You get what you give in this world, a lesson many young folk should heed.
BREAKING: Police say human remains have been found in the area where British teenager Jay Slater went missing. ๐บ Sky 501, Virgin 602, Freeview 233 and YouTube

@OkayBiology No gloating on my end. The entire situation is just ironic; if our justice system actually punished crime, he wouldn't be dead right now, instead he'd be sitting in some cell at his majesty's pleasure but very much alive. Plenty of opportunities for intervention, none of it done.

@1968Moses The only shameful thing is to pretend like this is not an issue. That's why young people are preyed upon into this lifestyle, because there's not enough adults in the world anymore warning them not to. Sorry but you are part of the problem here.

@XianVCon @SinnerOnPC @geochaben @MarinaMedvin 4. Fit her corpse on the truck. But a lot of mainstream news ran with the story suggesting she was alive, and if any journalist had simply asked for a medical opinion they would have realised that wasn't possible per the footage.

@wendy_harper Then it was probably not aimed at you in the first place, to be honest. It's targeted at people who are operating a business and trying to evade taxes. If you sparsely sell low-cost used things once in a blue moon, then you probably aren't reaching the declaration threshold.

@JenKteach @alicemydaughter @robertosim60892 1. Unfortunately reality is that it's once again become normal on the internet to idealise suicide and self-harm. Many years ago this exact same problem existed with young girls who didn't think they had the "right" body size or shape. Young children are being told to self-harm.

@XianVCon @SinnerOnPC @geochaben @MarinaMedvin 1. It was clear that she was dead in the video where she was being paraded around on the back of the truck. Her femurs (thigh bones) had serious multiple fractures and no discolour or bruising - that's only happens when the skeletal structure is fractured in a corpse, otherwise.

If those fractures happened during the point when she was alive, it would have been heavily discoloured (deep purple, almost black) due to the blood accumulation beneath the skin.
