@William96253166 @mu_phd @dlbeard @EdWhelanEPPC "Avoid political questions"... what? A courts entire existence and purpose is inherently political. Did you mean to say that this is why court's just default to the executive or something, because they also don't, and shouldn't... do that. Wtf are you talking about?

@SandraKM123 @CNNPolitics It's a fairly clear cut case of bribery, how is that a trumped up charge? Do you generally just believe anyone who supports Trump and his policies should be immune from all prosecution?

@Nobodieknows @MattBinder When is bribery okay vs. not okay, in your mind? Idk, I guess I just expected us as a country to be better than this, maybe Trump winning a second term should've ended that belief...

@William96253166 @mu_phd @dlbeard @EdWhelanEPPC Ok, how do you think they should enforce their lawful orders though?

@William96253166 @dlbeard @mu_phd @EdWhelanEPPC Lol that wouldn’t be within their constitutional judiciary Power, so no.

@dlbeard @William96253166 @mu_phd @EdWhelanEPPC This isn’t a ruling, it’s a temporary injunction, pretty much a “don’t break anything” order until the matter comes before the court, this week.

@NCMan2020 @tolstoybb Why not just… don’t make things bad and let them get better, naturally? As we’re doing right now? Please?

@dlbeard @William96253166 @mu_phd @EdWhelanEPPC One judge shouldn’t be allowed to issue a TRO? Lol what? You do realize that the Government attorneys are able to petition for its removal, and have even been instructed to do so by tomorrow. That’s the input by the executive, they go in front of court and argue their case.

@GUnderP68 @oneil_joe2 @seanmdav If the founding fathers wanted not to have lower federal courts with jurisdiction over federal matters, they wouldn’t have given Congress the power to make them! Genuinely why else do you think they’d exist?

@GUnderP68 @oneil_joe2 @seanmdav It’s not very hard to come to the conclusion that this situation is justiciable. It’s time sensitive and deals with matters that are going to be before the court within days, and though it’s a lower federal court, they have original jurisdiction! It’s their job!

@Hologram_9 @RandianJustice @EdWhelanEPPC You’re right, it isn’t! So he really shouldn’t have any problem finding another mechanism to audit the government that doesn’t involve violating the APA, and doesn’t multiple clauses in the Constitution.

@William96253166 @mu_phd @dlbeard @EdWhelanEPPC In a conversation about a judge blocking an action they believe to be outside of his power as head of the executive. The issue at hand is literally whether or not it’s one of “his power[s].”

@Teh_Bashar @seanmdav “They rule over districts” is false, they’re federal judges, just in lower courts as to ensure the Supreme Court isn’t overburdened. They are constitutionally given the same (albeit appealable) judicial Power as the Supreme Court. I don’t think you’ve told a single truth here…

@GUnderP68 @oneil_joe2 @seanmdav But it… isn’t an overstep of their authority? Article 3 of the Constitution grants the Supreme Court AND lower courts as established by Congress, the judicial Power to do exactly this. That’s not BS, it’s the Constitution!

@William96253166 @mu_phd @dlbeard @EdWhelanEPPC Uh judges certainly can order the President to stop exercising powers that aren’t theirs.

@RandianJustice @Hologram_9 @EdWhelanEPPC The idea to “cancel student loans” itself was/is not unconstitutional, the method he used at first was, which is why he cancelled some debt via other mechanisms, the next few times.
