I’m sorry but in what world is it okay for kids (or anyone for that matter) to be sat dangling their legs at a station, a fast train went past and had to honk a lot, I’m not fully blaming the parents but surely they must know it’s a terrible idea to do that?!?

I have some great news!!
After I graduate Uni in June I will then be starting a job as a Train Planner at SWR!
This means I will be moving down south so expect more southern exploring!
I can’t wait to start this new job! 😁 🎉

Started my first day today at SWR!
Which was just 1/3 days of induction to SWR, not too bad of a slow starting to my first proper job! (And first in the Railway industry!) 😁
I can’t wait for Friday in which I commute to London for the first time 😅

Look what we found! Saw a “Not in Service” due and we waited around to see if it was what we hoped it was, and I’m so happy it was!

Southampton Airport Parkway, Brockenhurst, Guildford, Ash and Wanborourgh tick ✅!
With my free weekends I’ll definitely be visited more of the SWR network near Basingstoke :)

After a upsetting incident where a waiter got angry at me for asking for the tab without the service charge, I just wanted to say. Tipping is a luxury (this only applies in the UK), it shouldn’t be a charge added on without asking.

Well what a chaotic evening! I finished work and went to go and check my letter box and my Priv was there! (I’d be waiting on it) I said that if I got it before this weekend I’d go up north so here I am on a train to London to go up north to see my family 😂

First day visiting London from Basingstoke, could have gone better but overall wasn’t too bad £19 to travel into London plus a travel card isn’t bad too! (Will be cheaper soon when I start work 😂)

Just booked my first trip on LNER First Class Dine, so hopefully I’ll get a lovely full English breakfast! Between Durham and Berwick cost £18.70 for first or £9 for standard, I’d say the extra £9.70 is worth it!

It’s been a while getting to this point especially at time through uni when it got tough but I’m genuinely loving life so much right now, it feels so set out in my head with a job I really enjoy, living down south in my own flat (well rented) plus an amazing parter 🥰

What a great day! So my day today consisted of a train to Brockenhurst, where I got a coffee, then went to Lymington and got the X1 Bus to Bournemouth.
Then 50 Purbeck Breezer open top to Swanage, then 40 Breezer to Wareham before finally getting a train back home! 😁

I am chef! Well I made a very tasty one pot pasta with onions, cherry tomatoes, tomato sauce, cream, pasta, spinach and a bit of mozzarella
Managed to make 5 portions out of it so ate 2 tonight, will have 1 for lunch tomorrow and freeze 2 :)
