Fellow Madridistas, fans of the women's team, it's time we accept hard and ugly truths: Just like at FC Porto, true bond and serious implication in the women's team at Real Madrid will only arrive with a new club president, that has a modern-day vision about women's football.

It's time I accept this ugly and hard truth: If Spanish women's football depended on Real Madrid Women players to evolve, both on and off the pitch, the Spaniards would still be a laughing stock around the world. And would be far behind the big WoSo nations.

We all respect the sensational work Casey Stoney is doing at Man United Women. But attributing to her the growth of United’s players – something that started happening “coincidentally” after Tobin Heath’s and Christen Press’ arrival – is warping the truth.

In other words, Barça Women players have been strong. Demanding of themselves. And demanding better from those who work with them and from everything that's around them. And they've been leading changes in regards to things that are wrong. Both on and off the pitch.

But this United Women’s amazing run we are witnessing is not only about Stoney’s coaching approach. Because without Tobin Heath’s leadership on the pitch that team wouldn’t be where it is. Heath doesn’t wear the armband but she is the leader of that team.

So, yes, at United Women, Stoney is putting players at the right places and getting them to do the right things. But that personal player development? That’s Heath’s (and Press’) on-the-pitch influence and competitiveness. And credit needs to be given where’s due.

It’s really easy to understand what happened/what is happening, if one is looking at the right data or full data.

01. This was the best game I watched the B-team of Real Madrid Women play this season. They played with assuredness, clear football ideas, interconnection between sectors, creation of chances ... And had unequivocal control of the match.

Beth England, sacrificed after Sophie Ingle’s expulsion. Taken out at the 19th minute of the game. You can see in her eyes what she’s thinking: “I’m gonna kill Sophie!”

Just don’t mess with her. She may look this innocent and sweet and relatable, but the number of corpses in Fran Kirby’s basement says you shouldn’t dare to mess with her: Man City Women, Man United Women, Arsenal Women, Atlético Madrid Women …

Sam Kerr has played some 15 minutes so far because of injury ... Alexia Putellas is out of competitive rhythm because of a long time out, injured ... And many more stars are not in the competition because of injury ... And, yet, this is arguably the best World Cup ever ...

Man United Women and Real Madrid Women ... playing like shit and without winning shit ... ... scamming their way into the Top 3 of clubs with the most revenues in European WoSo. Of course it was always gonna be the 2 most shameless clubs in Europe pulling this ... 😒

I guess all men will die at Emma Hayes’ hands. Beautiful men, not-so-beautiful men, tall men, short men, bearded men, non-bearded men … all of them will perish when they cross the path of the Russia-backed army Emma Hayes leads.

I don't know what you think you achieved with this; but, when it comes to football, if you want to intimidate me or embarrass me or shut me up or whatever, you need to come after me with ideas – sane ideas. This that you did here doesn't work on me.

There was a revelation yesterday for everyone to see – except for those living with their heads buried in the sand regarding the coaching truth at Real Madrid Women: It’s not just that Alberto Toril is a mediocre head coach; at this point, he also doesn’t know what he’s doing.

I wish Real Madrid Women hijacked this move – especially since I hear talks of a Maite Oroz loan out; and Sandie Toletti will surely leave; and Claudia Zornoza is old. Lina Magull is world-class; and she could still give us a couple of great seasons.

According to @IamBerry29 's information, Inter is on the verge of securing two new signings, one of whom is a German midfielder. Based on our sources, it appears that the 🇩🇪 national team midfielder Lina Magull is set to join Inter. #LinaMagull #InterWomen #figcfemminile

Of course, Olga won't tell us anything useful; because there's nothing in terms of playing style and football ideas coming from Toril. We watch the games. This nonsense she spews is just her being a coward; avoiding to upset the club, and trying to stay away from controversies.

Like some people have theorized, this (small) amount of money for the release clause was probably Lena Oberdorf's idea; so that she would not be tied to Wolfsburg, in case she wanted an early exit, but also could leave something (in terms of money) to them ...

01. Do you and @ajabbaruk agree now that without a quality/technical midfield, Man United Women ain't going nowhere in Europe? That midfield United Women have may work in England; but in Europe? Nope. 02. However, above all, United need a head coach. Marc Skinner is mediocre.

PSG deserved it honestly. A lot of errors today, a goal disallowed & that stings, was such a good header from Leah. It’s not the worst thing to lose to PSG in your first ever UWCL appearance but need to assess the squad now & some players shouldn’t be starting, period.

About the DM position, I reckon you've watched Patri Guijarro play. And that you watched Teresa Abelleira play for Spain in the position during this year's World Cup. Did you see their technique? Did you see the passes – short and long – they make? How they run a midfield?
@NiostaC DM but she also plays cb for germany
