@MoreLimitless_ I'mma be real: I absolutely hate Xbox falling off as someone who has not touched an Xbox since 360 and prefers PlayStation between the three consoles, because it has made Ponies more annoying than ever. Like damn, talk about corporate glazing lol.

To this point, no publicly traded company will ever want any situation to look like an L. This is why the “Square’s expectations are too high” meme is laughable—that would just be them signing up to shit their own stock prices. The very notion of that is as dumb as it gets.
While it's a meme to say SE is setting expectations insanely high, they usually aren't. AAA games actually do cost /that/ much and need to sell an unfathomable number of units to break even or profit. Strong AA games like this with great sales are greatly needed.

I always use this anecdote to tell new YouTubers that it really is your title and thumbnail that brings people in, then the content itself just makes them stay. Literally, just by having a more appealing image paired with the song, Plastic Love went viral years later.
This is true. The city pop craze of the late 2010s was entirely driven by uploads by those archivists. The image people associate most with Marika Takeuchi’s Plastic Love was from a different album but used on a YouTube upload
