@ros_tinkler A cure will be found once medical practice start taking fibromyalgia seriously and stop gaslighting patients. Medicine doesn't prioritize ailments that don't directly cause death. That's why there's no progress when it comes to treatment for certain diseases. It's sad.

@KenDBerryMD 34. I take drugs to manage endometriosis and opioids for chronic pain. I didn't bring this on myself by eating unhealthy or not exercising. I still wish I knew why I have endometriosis 🎗

@EndometriosisSA I'm still struggling to find the balance between rest and being active. I hate feeling unproductive, so when the pain is bearable, I tend to overwork myself. Then I trigger a flare-up and I'm back on forced rest. It never ends well 🙈

@ntdefinedbyendo That's my reality now. I used NSAIDs for endometriosis pain for a long time, and now I have ulcers and gastric issues. I take opiods now, but they make me so drowsy that I can't just take them any time I feel pain because I have mom duties to fulfill. The dilemma of my life...😩
