@KarenellaB Yes! We saw the Physician Associate when our baby had what we then discovered was tonsillitis...brilliant service. We also had a nervous receptionist tell us there was no GP but there was a PA appt...we were more than happy to see a PA or an AP!

@moribunddr A colleague who was retiring told me that the NHS has peaks and troughs. If you stay long enough you'll cycle through a few peaks/troughs. When i started it was a peak as labour had increased funding which meant we could recruit, improve services, morale...imo

@timricketts_ I misunderstood the poll. I thought it meant, what band are they currently paid at as FY1s. So i put 5 (which is obviously too low for the years of training). But if they were on AfC, they should start at atleast b7, like pyschologists do (i think?).

@tanyasikand @EmergMedDr Oh the tea police! You dont get breaks to pop to the canteen... Do they expect you to wear a thermos of tea like you are hiking up Everest? A ward host once hid yogurts from me because i kept "stealing them"... to do swallow/dysphagia assessments (im SALT!)

@Jopo_dr Take it slowly... I eased into at 7 or 8 weeks, but it was like walk-jog-walk, then a few gentle 5ks. Whenever i tried to go further or faster my body gave me a very clear "oh no you don't" π
