Wisconsin businesses are now in the same predicament they were pre-pandemic: not enough people to fill the jobs they have available.
We must attract more workers to Wisconsin if we are going to solve the continuing workforce shortage.
Overall, Wisconsin's jobless rate in January was 3.8%, down from 4% in December of 2020 and near pre-pandemic levels of 3.3% in January of 2020.
