Reflecting on the General Assembly’s achievements, @kysenatepres said he is proud of the efforts to strengthen Kentucky’s credit rating and lower income taxes and credited the Chamber’s ‘Leaky Bucket’ report many years ago for driving much of this progress.

House Speaker David Osborne highlighted Kentucky’s progress, emphasizing the $4 billion returned to taxpayers through tax reform since 2018, record investments in education, and the continued focus on addressing workforce challenges and housing shortages.

Senate Minority Leader @geraldneal33 emphasized the key issues where the General Assembly has common ground, which include workforce development, infrastructure, housing, and creating opportunities for everyone. “These aren’t partisan goals, they’re Kentucky goals,” said Neal.

During her speech as the new House Minority Leader, @stevensonspeaks shared her vision for Kentucky of supporting educators, health care access, food and medicine security, and a business-friendly environment.

During his remarks at the 2025 Chamber Day Dinner, @GovAndyBeshear highlighted another strong year for business investment reaching every part of the Commonwealth. “Thank you to all our businesses that believe in Kentucky. Every time you have an expansion, it improves your confidence in us and it lets us sell that confidence to others,” he said.

“Businesses of all sizes are improving quality of life, driving economic growth, and giving our communities the resources they need to thrive,” says Kentucky Chamber President and CEO @AshliWatts, highlighting the essential role businesses play in creating vibrant communities across the Commonwealth and the importance of passing policies that support business.

Davis recaps the key legislative victories for the business community during the 2024 legislative session, which included investments in child care, education, and economic development, and established task forces on key issues like housing, artificial intelligence, and workforce.
