I don't think schools have a choice Niamh. It is a huge amount of work and time just physically holding them, time I would much prefer to spend working with the children on areas they enjoy and are motivated by.

Agree 100% .
You can't take all these chn with AEN & lump them in a room together. A ratio of 6 children to every adult? With none of the other children there to provide the support they usually provide.
Children help each other. You can't remove that support and not replace it.

I walked through beautiful Naas enjoying the last of the decorations and a little window shopping too😉 while ds3 was at music. Usually I get a coffee, work in the car or nap😂. This was much more enjoyable. Go raibh maith agat
