Such a magic time of year. Did you know that lone trees are left like this in fields out of superstition that they may be fairy trees. Most farmers fear if they remove them they’ll be cursed with bad luck (fairies were mischievous in Irish mythology - not like the Disney ones!)

I met the most beautiful hiker today atop Scarr Mountain in Wicklow. A Golden Plover nesting in the Heathers. A red, or high conservation, listed species on Irelands Birds of Conservation Concern.
